Misty Step

Misty Step is a level 2 spell for your D&D table. Silver mist wraps around you, and you step out of it somewhere else you can see, up to 30 feet away.

Misty Step is the escape artist's favourite. One heartbeat you are trapped between two goblins; the next, a puff of silver mist, and you are standing on the balcony above them, waving.

At the table, it rewards clever thinking about the room: high ledges, the far side of a chasm, behind the locked bars. The caster has to see where they land, so dark places and closed doors stop it.
